Product Update 6.8.0 | September

In September 2026, Spotler Activate released version 6.8.0. This is a small, corrective release: fields used to determine favourite products can no longer be freely renamed or archived while in use, and Predictive AI now shows a clearer count of customers analyzed for churn risk.

What's changed

Favourite product fields can no longer be freely edited

What changed: Custom product fields used to determine a customer's favourite category or favourite brand are now kept in a fixed format. You can still change the name of most custom product fields, but not these. You also cannot archive one of these fields while it is still in use. Spotler Activate shows a warning instead.

Who is this relevant for: This is relevant if you use custom product fields to show personal product recommendations based on favourite category or favourite brand.

Why is this important: Keeping these fields in a fixed format makes sure favourite category and favourite brand keep working correctly in your profile data.

A clearer count of customers analyzed in Predictive AI

What changed: The Total customers analyzed figure in Predictive AI now counts only the customers who have actually been given a churn score. Customers without enough purchase history to score are no longer included, so this number may be lower than the total number of customers in your account.

Who is this relevant for: This is relevant if you use Predictive AI to assess churn risk.

Why is this important: The figure now reflects what it is meant to measure, so it may change even though nothing about your customer data has changed.

The rest of this release consists of internal reliability improvements that are not visible in the product. In short, Spotler Activate 6.8.0 restricts editing of custom product fields used for favourite category and favourite brand, and makes the Total customers analyzed figure in Predictive AI more accurate.
