When you use the Date of event filter with "between" in the Spotler Activate Audience Builder, the start date is included and the end date is not. Spotler Activate reads both dates as 00:00:00, so the date range ends at the very start of the end date.
The Date of event filter in the advanced mode of the Audience Builder lets you add a fixed date range for events. Spotler Activate always reads the selected dates as 00:00:00, not as 23:59:59:
- Start date: included, from 00:00:00 on that day.
- End date: not included, because the range ends at 00:00:00 on that day.
For example, if you select between 1 October and 5 October, the audience includes events from 1 October 00:00:00 up to 5 October 00:00:00. Events on 5 October are not included.
How do you include the last day of the date range?
To include events on the last day of your date range in Spotler Activate, select the day after it as the end date. For example, to include all events from 1 to 5 October, select between 1 October and 6 October. To select a whole month, such as January, select between 1 January and 1 February.
